Vicky and I went and saw Tim Burton's exhibit at the MOMA and it was, in a word, AMAZING. I have always loved Burton's films but I had no idea he was such the artist. The man had a private collection dating back to when he was in high school and even back then, it was clear how his style would emerge over the years. I loved, loved, loved his sketches - they were weird, funny, gross, romantic, zany, sad, and so, so original. If any of you stumble across his recent book of art archives, do not hesitate to take a look at it. Or, if you live in New York, just make sure you go see the exhibit. You won't be disappointed.
And his movie Alice in Wonderland comes out in two weeks!!!
