Jhani, pronounced "Johnny."
I was born and raised in the magical San Francisco Bay Area and I miss it every day.
At 18, I moved across the country to attend the University of Vermont. I gained independence, confidence, an intense winter wardrobe, an appreciation for seasonal changes, a mess of best friends, and a handsome, charming boy who turned out to be a most excellent life partner.
That boy and I now live in the Big Apple and while we didn't love it at first, we love it more and more every day and aren't quite sure when we'll leave. I am in the final stretch of pursuing two education degrees at Teachers College - Columbia. I graduate in May.
We'll see what happens next.
