I listened to this band throughout college, always blasting it on my iPod when I was writing a paper or studying for a test. When there is work to be done, sometimes I am uncomfortable with utter silence yet I can get distracted by music with lyrics which I'm tempted to sing along to. Lotus is the perfect in-between - smooth yet stimulating instrumental music that becomes the perfect study partner.

I had forgotten about Lotus for almost a year or so until I saw an announcement that they just came out with a new CD. I downloaded it immediately and it is already a perfect companion for the start of this new school year which is sure to be a busy one. If you're like me and like to have background noise that's not too distracting while studying/working , give Lotus a try.
