Christmas has arrived in the Griffin/Amabile household! Meet our little tree who could. She is currently decorated with cheap white lights from Rite Aid and some special (dinky) ornaments that Mama Griffin shipped from California last year. Hopefully more ornaments will be added in the coming weeks. For now, I'm enjoying the pine-y smell that occupies our living room and the impressive Broadway bass voice that my dear boyfriend has been showing off through his Christmas song renditions. His favorite?
And he sings it good.
Anyway. I hope this very premature holiday spirit will start bringing some snowflakes around these parts. As much as I am NOT winter's biggest fan, it's hard to get fully immersed in the coziness of the holidays when it's still above 60 degrees after Thanksgiving has passed. What is this, California?!
Adios, November. I'm ready for December.

Adorable tree! I just love it, and from here, you can't tell that there's anything cheap or dinky about it :)
I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for some chilly weather!
