I missed the red carpet and saw barely any parts of the show itself, but that doesn't mean I wasn't keeping an eye out for those dresses and making quick judgments. I was actually slightly underwhelmed this year but maybe that was just because of my lack of involvement with the whole awards ceremony in general. Anyway, here were my faves: I loved Stacy's rosette and glam color, Cameron's princess vibe and clean-cut design, Penelope's color, and Jessica's stark, fiery print design. Emma's was my #1 favorite of the night in that hot red number that looked ridiculously comfortable, modest, and had that fun fashion flair of a bow.
In other Oscar-related news, it is pretty apparent that I absolutely must see The Artist. As someone with a hearing loss who relies on closed captions, I wish I had seen it in theatre where the playing field with my hearing peers would have been the same!
