Check out this awesome article from Burlington's Seven Days paper. Tonight, Signmark performs in the Higher Ground Showcase Lounge in celebration of Deaf History Month. I had never heard of Signmark before until a friend (my UVM ASL professor, actually!) sent me a link and told me to come check him out. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it up there this weekend but I am totally intrigued by Signmark and will be keeping my eyes on him. This is just another example of how artistic and beautiful sign language can be and why I love being around it.
