Last fall, I made an NYC bucket list due to the fact that I had no idea when my last day in the Big Apple would be. As it turns out, Nick and I are staying for at least another year so time is on my side. When my family was in town for the week of my graduation and we had lots of opportunities for touristy adventures, I realized that my bucket list for NYC has changed. Some of the activities on the old list have been completed, but I also forgot to include some things, lost interest in other things, and discovered some new things. So, my friends, here's an update. With no major summer plans (besides finding a job!), I plan to get some serious work done on this list.
Things I did:
- visited the Empire State Building
- walked across the Brooklyn Bridge
- visited the Brooklyn Botanical Garden (but sadly not during Cherry Blossom season)
- visited the new 9/11 Memorial
- explore the New York Public Library at Bryant Park
- sip on a beverage in the Met's rooftop café
- wander through Eataly
- ride the Staten Island Ferry and/or the East River Ferry
- take a trip down to the Brooklyn Flea Market
- visit the "Top of the Rock"
- sail on the Hudson River
- see a Broadway play
- dine at Bond St. Sushi
- ride my bike from my apartment in Queens to Brooklyn
- ride in a rowboat in Central Park
- sip on a cold Hot Chocolate at Serendipity
- wander through Chelsea Market

When you explore the New York Public Library at Bryant Park, I'd love to join you, although that would entail flying very far, I'd do so happily!!!
My son flies free for another year and 8 months... Just saying...
