halloween.

Nick and I didn't do Halloween this year. No costumes, no parties, no nothing. We just didn't.....feel like it. Last night, however, our friends Eric and Kaylee came over to hang out for a bit and they showed up in their costumes - a hot dog and french fries, respectively. Eric brought a pumpkin and carved it right on our kitchen counter, and left it on top of our fridge as a present. Kaylee and I went to the store and got an unhealthy amount of candy. Then we all ordered takeout and watched An American Werewolf in London. While Nick and I had no regrets about not being in the Halloween spirit this year, it was definitely fun to have a little taste of it thanks to Eric and Kaylee. Sometimes the best holidays are the ones you don't plan for. Happy Halloween, everybody.
