Mom and John came to visit a few weekends ago. It was Mom's first time visiting me since I became a New York resident, and John's first time in NYC ever! It was a brief but glorious weekend and the best part is that I knocked two things off my New York City bucket list. We got super lucky with the weather and were able to take a nice trek across the Brooklyn Bridge. It had been pretty chilly the night before so we were sweating in our pants and wool socks but were grateful for the cloudless skies and beautiful views. The Brooklyn Bridge has super interesting architecture which is hard to realize from afar. I recommend this little day activity to anyone who is interested - and it's free!
